1. Data controller

The controller of personal data processed in connection with ZarobTo is Błażej Jędrzejczak. You can contact the controller at kontakt@zarobto.pl.

This English version is provided for convenience. If there is any uncertainty, contact us before relying on a specific interpretation.

2. What data we may process

We may process technical data related to use of the website, such as IP address, browser and device information, date and time of the request, security logs and basic server logs needed to operate and protect the website.

If you contact us by email, we process the data included in your message, such as your email address, name or any information you decide to provide.

If you subscribe to or open a newsletter, data may be processed by Substack according to that service's own rules.

We may use Vercel Analytics for basic, aggregated website statistics and performance measurement. Salary amounts entered into calculators are not sent to analytics as user profile data.

Salary amounts entered into calculators are not stored in ZarobTo's database. Calculations are generally performed locally in your browser unless a particular tool clearly states otherwise.

3. Why we process data

We process data to operate and secure the website, respond to messages, handle newsletter-related actions, measure basic website performance, diagnose technical errors, maintain service reliability and protect legal claims if needed.

4. Legal bases

Depending on the context, processing may be based on our legitimate interest in operating, securing and improving the website, responding to correspondence and protecting claims.

Newsletter-related processing may be based on your consent or your own interaction with the external newsletter service.

In some situations, processing may also be necessary to comply with legal obligations or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

5. Recipients and processors

Data may be processed by service providers that help us run the website, including Vercel as hosting, infrastructure and analytics provider, Substack as newsletter provider if you use the newsletter, and our email provider for correspondence.

We do not use advertising cookies or external behavioural profiling tools at the time of this update.

6. Transfers outside the EEA

Some technology providers, such as Vercel or Substack, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, it should be done under GDPR transfer mechanisms used by those providers, such as appropriate safeguards.

7. Storage period

Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security, diagnostics and operation of the website.

Email correspondence may be kept for the time needed to handle the matter and protect potential claims.

Newsletter data is processed according to the newsletter provider's rules and until you unsubscribe or otherwise request deletion where applicable.

8. Your GDPR rights

Depending on the legal basis and circumstances, you may have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict processing, object to processing, withdraw consent, receive a portable copy of data where applicable and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

In Poland, the supervisory authority is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, known as UODO.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

At the time of this update, ZarobTo does not use its own marketing cookies. We may use technical infrastructure and Vercel Analytics for basic website statistics.

External services, such as Substack or Vercel, may use their own technologies as necessary to provide their services. If we add marketing cookies or profiling tools in the future, we will update this policy and implement a consent mechanism where required.

10. Changes

This policy may be updated as the website develops. The current version will always be available on this page.
